Spawnfest is an annual tournament held at the Skagit River Park in Burlington, Washington and is hosted by Bellingham Ultimate.  The tournament is known for its excellent fresh caught, wild salmon feast on Saturday night and for bringing local, national and international teams together for some great competition. Miguel Boriss is the tournament director this year.  Please contact him with any general questions about the tourney and if you want to register a team for the Classic Mixed Division.  We look forward to having you all up for another great Spawnfest Tournament. 

Ben Wiggins is back as the tournament director for our sister tournament, the Emerald City Classic.  Not only is this guy a great Ultimate player but he knows how to bring some of the world's top talent to the Pacific Northwest.  He also runs one of the smoothest tournaments around.  It looks like we will have 36 ECC teams this year with Elite Men's, Women's and Coed divisions.  There will be 6 countries represented and US teams will be coming from 12 different states.  There are going to be lots of exciting games, including the showcase game on Saturday night.  You can find a list of the teams playing in ECC by following the links above.  For more information, check out the official ECC website.  Don't forget to head down to Seattle on Thursday for the JamborECC. It promises to be an exciting 2.5 hours of elite level play!

This year we will be hosting the music and party at the fields.   That's right, you can go straight from playing Ultimate to eating an awesome dinner to watching a stellar showcase game to drinking and dancing without even getting in your car.  Rise N Shine will playing some funky music from 8:00-10:00.  Check out the Rise N Shine myspace page for a preview of what's to come.  The 2009 Spawnfest Party looks like it might the best yet.
